How to manually create game shortcuts in games folder on Windows 7?
When I install a video game on Windows 7, it usually places its shortcut in games folder. I find this very convenient, cause I can see rating information, information how well my computer can run it etc. The problem is, some of the games don't do this, and I was wondering, is there a way to manually enter this information, using windows registry, or whatever?
To put a shortcut there, right-click the game file, select Create Shortcut and move the shortcut to the game folder. But a shortcut isn't going to have game statistics. That's something the game itself creates, and you'd have to write a program (a separate one for each game) to do that.
